I bought this after a friend recommended it, and we both have the problem. I really like this keypad - it's easy to use, comfortable and conveniently holds the usb inside of itself. My only complaint is that some buttons stick (but still work, you just have to hit them harder). Her "Tab" key sticks and my "1" key sticks. Annoying, but isn't a deal breaker.
the lack of a "000" button.it has everything, nice design, compatibility, high quality materials, battery life, extraordinary typing response -u won't have to check or type twice a thing- it has even some extra buttons that may ease ur life, like the calculator, excel and explorer quick launch buttons, BUT still, I really miss the "000" button since my work involves a lot of zeros.If u don't mind this, then this is the product for you, if u do, well.I'm learning to live without it :(
Exactly what I wanted - love Logitech stuff. I use it even with my office desktop, not just my laptop.
Excellent product. I like that it contains the following buttons: ( ) = and a backspace. Makes it simple to enter formulas without having to go back and forth between the laptop and number pad. Would highly recommend to anyone.
I thought about just getting a whole keyboard, but the ease and convenience of the logitech wireless is incomparable. I looked for a few days and other reviews were helpful to compare. I use an IBM think pad and typically need a number pad several times a week for payroll and other projects. The grippers on the bottom are nice too so I know it won't slide around on me. Some pads had the extra/rarely used keys taking up space where the essential keys should be and this logitech had what I needed. I love that I can place it anywhere on my desk or store it away when not in use. Although the "9" was sticking the first week or so, I'm sure it just needed some use, I'm very happy with the product. The TAB and Back button are very useful so if you don't get this exact product, at least look for one that has those features.
